For a flight involving South Korea, first separate a ticket refund from a delay claim. Korean consumer dispute resolution standards can guide a dispute, but they are not an automatic, universal cash award. The current aviation annex and the carrier's responsibility need a case-specific check.
What to collect
Save the ticket and fare breakdown, the original and changed itinerary, the operating carrier's written reason, the actual arrival time and any receipts. A package price is not automatically the flight fare used for a delay reference.
How to proceed
Ask the airline or ticket seller to identify the unused segments and refund terms. Submit any delay-related loss and expenses separately, with evidence. If the airline denies the claim, keep its written explanation and check the Korea Consumer Agency or 1372 consumer consultation route.
Important limit
The current Korean aviation annex needs a line-by-line check before any percentage is used. This page does not calculate a current statutory amount or apply a historical table to a new case.
